Ōnin Staffing is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Round Rock, TX
Job Description
This is a Contract to Hire position for a Maintenance Technician with an hourly rate of $25 / hr in the Round Rock area.
The work schedule is from Monday-Friday, 3PM to 11 : 30PM. This job provides a great opportunity for growth and advancement, and bilingual candidates are a plus.
What you'll do as : Maintenance Technician
- Equipment Preventive Maintenance - 95%
- Proficiently diagnose, test, and maintain production equipment according to manufacturers and company specifications.
- Record and maintain maintenance records accurately.
- Maintain Air Industrial Compressor to prevent production schedule delays.
- Follow manuals and drawings for equipment maintenance.
- Disassemble / reassemble machinery for repairs.
- Repair or replace broken components.
- Examine parts for defects and test machinery operation.
- Clean lubricate, and adjust parts.
- Analyze test results and error messages to diagnose equipment problems.
- Order parts and demonstrate equipment functions to operators.
Equipment Safety and Reporting
- Address and report equipment defects promptly.
- Follow procedures, policies, and equipment instructions.
- Speak up about unsafe conditions or acts.
Order Parts for Equipment - 5%
- Order parts for glue machines, bagger machines, saw machines, dust collector, and industrial grinder.
- Obtain equipment from vendors with proper authorization (PO).
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following :
- Minimum 3 years experienced in equipment maintenance role in manufacturing or construction or related field
- Electrician experience
- Industrial Equipment 3 years of experience
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Able to travel to other Locations
- Ability to train others
- Be Bilingual (spanish / english)
- Industrial and commercial electrician experience
- Industrial PM experienced
